Welcome to ROSSS
Rural Ottawa South Support Services (ROSSS) is a non-profit, charitable organization that was created in the spring of 2011 when Rideau Community Support Services and the Osgoode Home Support Program merged. ROSSS strives to be a centre of excellence in the delivery of rural community support services and to advocate and champion the rights of seniors, caregivers and adults with physical disabilities.
Whether we are providing nutritious meals or coordinating transportation, our mission is to help seniors and adults with physical disabilities live safely in their own home and community as long as they are able. People live longer, healthier and happier lives when they can stay in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by the people and things they love. We believe that geography shouldn’t be a barrier to care.
With locations in Manotick, Metcalfe and North Gower/Richmond, ROSSS has 11 full and part-time staff and over 300 volunteers who assist with almost all aspects of its programs. In addition, ROSSS has in-home workers who provide respite services and help clients live independently in the community.
