Wednesday, June 6 – “TITANIC” The Musical, 7:30 p.m. performance

We will start our journey at Swiss Chalet in Barrhaven and then travel to Centrepointe to enjoy the musical, “TITANIC.” Winner of 5 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Orchestrations, Titanic follows the dramatic events of passengers rich and poor on their trip across the North Atlantic. A touching and poignant portrait of that fateful journey.             Cost:  $75.00

 

Tuesday, June 12 – “Chartwell’s Senior Star” Contest at Lac Lemay, 9:30 – 2:00 p.m.

Come and enjoy Chartwell’s Seniors’ annual singing and musical instrument  competition. This event is sure to be a great time!  Lunch will be provided.                                                  Cost:  $15.00

 

Thursday, July 12 – 1000 Islands “Day in the Islands Cruise” – 4.5 hours

Enjoy a Sightseeing Excursion featuring the four eastern groups of the 1000 Islands including a view of Boldt and Singer Castles, three historic lighthouses, the shortest International Bridge and much more, complimented by a bountiful Brockbuster Lunch Buffet.                                                   Cost:  $93.00

                                               

Wednesday, August 22 – Lunch & Theatre, Morrisburg, Ontario

We will start our afternoon of fun at the McIntosh Country for a buffet-style lunch.  We will then travel to the Upper Canada Playhouse to enjoy live theatre.  “Wife Begins at 40” is sure to bring on laughter and fun.  Tickets are limited!  Lunch is at Noon and the show starts at 2 p.m.                              Cost:  $77.00

Description of Show“Wife Begins at 40” – “Linda’s dissatisfied with her 17-year marriage but hubby George doesn’t seem to be aware of the problem. When George moves out to give Linda a chance to “find herself,” their hilarious attempts to re-kindle the dying flame take their toll on everyone-including neighbours, Betty and Roger; Leonard, their 16-year old son; Bernard, their eccentric Granddad; and Gertie, the real life family dog. That’s right–a real dog! “
