Deliver Meals On Wheels

When you deliver hot or frozen healthy meals, you ensure that people are eating well, and reminding them that someone cares. Delivering meals isn’t just about food – it’s about the companionship, comfort and security of knowing that someone is there.

Be A Friendly Visitor

Bringing a smile to someone’s face is really easy. A friendly visit to someone’s home is often all it takes to lift the burden of loneliness or isolation. We take great care to match friendly visitors with clients who have similar interests or hobbies so that it is an enjoyable experience for all.

Offer Transportation

Imagine trying to get to doctor’s appointments, the bank, or the grocery store without transportation. All too often, peoples’ health declines when they are no longer able to drive. If you have a car, you can give people the access to services they need to live healthy, vital lives. Volunteer drivers are reimbursed for their mileage.

Support Our Diner’s Program

Our diner’s program gives people an opportunity to connect with friends over a nutritious meal. Your help setting up tables and serving hot meals will help keep this crucial program running. The opportunity to visit and socialize with seniors is a perk!

Share Administration Skills

The ROSSS office is a hive of activity! We can always use administrative help. As an administrative volunteer, you will help us connect people to the services they need by: answering the phone, booking appointments, coordinating drives and performing other office related duties.

Help With Shopping

Picking up groceries and medications or buying clothing can be a real challenge for many people we serve. Helping out with Tuesday bus trips, attending our quarterly bus trips or assisting someone with their personal shopping can make a huge difference.

Use Your Creativity

Are you musical, crafty or interested in fitness or photography? Do you like to write, design, organize or coordinate? There’s a place for your gifts at ROSSS! Contact us to share your talents!
