Kelly joined Rural Ottawa South Support Services (ROSSS) in 2018 as Acting Executive Director and became Executive Director in 2019. Prior to joining ROSSS, Kelly worked at Carleton University for over a decade where her responsibilities included serving as the Director of Student Academic Support Services and Co-op and Career Services. In addition, Kelly also held management roles at Elmwood School, Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa and McGill University. Kelly has her M.A in Canadian Political History and completed her PhD coursework in International Law and Human Rights History. She is a passionate advocate for older adults and individuals living with disabilities. As Executive Director of ROSSS, Kelly’s work focuses on the needs of older adults and adults with disabilities in the rural communities of Ottawa South and with the ROSSS team, ensures they have essential services to live independently at home while remaining healthy, active, and connected.
Cindy has been with ROSSS since 2008. Her nursing background has brought knowledge and experience necessary to support our rural clients and their families. Cindy and her team work hard to provide Home Support services, Social programs, Adult Day programs and Caregiver Support to those in our rural catchment areas.
I’ve been working at ROSSS since March 2013 and have loved every minute of it! In the earlier years, I had direct contact with our clients in my role as the Transportation Scheduler and the endless conversations brought so much joy to my days. For the last few years, I don’t have as much contact, but I still get joy out of knowing that the work I do continues to support our clients. In addition to my role as Manager of Operations, I also manage the Transportation and Meals on Wheels programs. I look forward to many more years supporting the seniors and adults with disabilities in our community!
