DESCRIPTION:Looking for a way to get out for a good ride while also supporting rural Ottawa’s most vulnerable populations? \nROSSS is excited to invite you to participate in Lagois’ second annual Ride for ROSSS Poker Run\, a charity motorcycle ride. \nSaturday\, June 17th\, 2023 \nRide begins at W.O. Stinson\, 4728 Bank Street\, Gloucester\, ON \n8AM – Registration\, coffee and refreshments \n9AM – Ride begins \nRegistration is $50\, $25 for an additional rider. \nAll riders who raise over $200 will have their registration fees waived! \nThe route will take riders around rural Ottawa South\, with poker run stops along the way\, and culminates at Lagois’ office at 5921 Prince of Wales Dr\, North Gower\, ON  for lunch\, entertainment and prizes. \nSponsor a Senior! Every $50 raised allows ROSSS to deliver a week’s worth of Meals on Wheels to a rural senior! \nAbout ROSSS: \nROSSS plays a critical role in our local health care system providing affordable\, quality health and social programs that support older adults\, adults living with disabilities\, and their caregivers who reside in rural communities south of Ottawa. In close collaboration with its clients\, ROSSS delivers essential services that foster independence\, promote quality of life\, and maintain a healthy and safe environment for clients who continue to live in their homes. ROSSS also facilitates access to additional health and social programs to meet each client’s individual needs. \nOffering services like transportation\, Meals on Wheels\, social connections programs\, in-home support\, foot care\, day programs\, respite\, caregiver supports and more\, ROSSS is the community-based service provider that intimately knows the unique challenges faced by rural seniors and adults with disabilities. \nRegister Today!
