Transportation Services
ROSSS’ transportation service is for individuals who can transfer safely and independently (or with minimal assistance) into a vehicle. Wheelchair transportation is also available.
We employ screened and trained volunteers and staff drivers to help you reach your destination. Transportation is provided for medical appointments, or for personal, social and basic shopping trips. Please note that during busy times, priority is given to medical appointments.
We recommend making your request a minimum of one week in advance to allow us the opportunity to accommodate your drive. Please note ROSSS is not an emergency transportation service provider.
Note that all new clients must undergo a telephone assessment prior to receiving transportation services.

To destinations within City of Ottawa limits (round trip prices)
0-30 km – $11.00
31+ km – $19.50
Transportation for groceries $10.00
To destinations outside City of Ottawa limits (round trip prices)
1-10 km – $13.00
11-30 km – $18.00
31-50 m – $23.00
51-70 km – $33.00
71-90 km – $43.00
91+ km – $0.60/km
**Parking fees are the responsibility of the client at time of parking.
Drives not cancelled with 24 hours’ notice are subject to charges.
